18" Aquarian American Vintage Medium - Texture Coated
18" Aquarian Texture Coated bass drum head. Consistent tone and sensitive response from a single-ply head.
Product Description
The American Vintage Medium is a single-ply 18" bass drum head from Aquarian with a Texture Coated surface. It delivers a consistent tone, increased resonance and the sensitive response drummers expect from a traditional single-ply head, working well with sticks, mallets and brushes.
Coating and Durability
The surface features a 10 mil layer with Aquarian's Z-100 coating, one of the thinnest and most durable coatings ever developed. Unlike conventional coatings, it resists chipping and lasts a long time, while contributing to a responsive and resonant tone.
Hoop and Tuning
Aquarian's "Safe-T-Loc" hoop combined with their "Sound Curve" collar makes the head very easy to tune. The design also improves stick response and reduces the chance of the head slipping during play.
Sound and Feel
The result is a head with consistent tone and increased resonance, while retaining the sensitive response characteristic of a single-ply head.
