18" Paiste 2002 Medium Cymbal

Product Description

The Paiste 2002 Medium 18" is a legendary cymbal that has shaped the sound of generations of drummers since the early days of rock. It's still made according to the same principles as the original and works just as well today across most musical settings.

• CuSn8 alloy, known as "2002 Bronze"
• Medium heavy thickness
• Integrated bell
• Medium to loud volume

Sound and Feel

The sound is brilliant, clear and warm, yet strong and musical with a high energy level and powerful projection. The attack is fairly washy with a lively intensity, giving a full, alive sound rather than a short, dry response.

Uses

The 2002 Medium works from medium-soft to loud music, both live and in the studio. It's a classic choice for classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, as well as crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and many other genres.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a cymbal with serious rock heritage and a powerful, cutting sound that projects clearly in a loud mix.
