17" Meinl Soundcaster Custom Medium Crash Cymbal - Brilliant
B12 bronze cymbal with brilliant finish. Shimmering sparkle, quick attack and full bottom in a 17" medium crash.
Product Description
The Meinl Soundcaster Custom Medium Crash is a 17" crash cymbal made from B12 bronze (88% copper, 12% tin) with a brilliant finish. The alloy delivers a shimmering, sparkling top end together with a full bottom end, making it a great fit if you want a crash with both attitude and range in its tone.
When the Soundcaster series launched in 2004, it was a world first for cymbals in B12 alloy, a combination that delivered a unique sound with brilliant, sparkling overtones. Soundcaster Custom builds on that with a brilliant finish that further enhances the shimmering tone. The cymbals are shaped using Meinl's computer-controlled hammering technique for a consistent, controlled result. The series spans a wide range, from explosive thin crashes to powerful mega bell rides, and this 17" medium-weight crash gives you a response that works well in most musical settings.
