The Masters Dark Crash is a hand-crafted 17" crash cymbal from Paiste, made from CuSn20 alloy (Traditional Bronze). It delivers a warm, full and deep sound with great complexity, suited for low to high volume playing both live and in the studio.
Sound Character
The Paiste Masters series started as a range of top-class ride cymbals, and was expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same quality. Every cymbal is hand-crafted and unique, giving a wide range of tonal colours across the series. The Masters Dark Crash offers a silky attack sound, washy intensity and a medium-long bell with an integrated chick sound. Its medium thin thickness contributes to a responsive, playable feel.
