17" Istanbul Agop Lenny White Signature Epoch Crash Cymbal
17" crash cymbal, Istanbul Agop Lenny White Signature Epoch. Deep, warm crash with quick decay from its flatter profile.
Product Description
A 17" crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop's collaboration with drum legend Lenny White, part of the "Epoch" series. It delivers a deep, warm crash that stays clear rather than overly complex, with a quick decay thanks to its flatter profile, developed together with Lenny and inspired by a ride cymbal once given to Wallace Roney by the late, great Tony Williams.
The Epoch series was developed in collaboration with Lenny White and is heavily inspired by a ride cymbal given to Wallace Roney by the late, great Tony Williams, a cymbal Lenny used to play himself while working with Wallace. That lineage comes through clearly in the sound.
Sound and Feel
The Epoch Crashes feature a deep, warm, but not overly complex crash with a quick decay due to their flatter profile. That makes them easy to control without overwhelming the mix in a tight groove.
