17" Paiste Color Sound 900 Black Crash Cymbal - Black

Product Description

The Paiste Color Sound 900 Black Crash is a 17" crash cymbal that stands out from the crowd. The Color Sound 900 series comes in four bold colors, giving you a way to paint your sound. At its core it shares the same construction as the regular 900 series, but the color coating gives it a slightly darker, more controlled sound.

Like the rest of the 900 series, the cymbal is first machine-made and then hand-hammered in the final stage, which gives it its character. The alloy is CuSn20 and the thickness is medium, giving a medium low to loud volume with a washy strike sound and lively intensity in the tone. The cymbal has an integrated bell.

Sound and Use

The sound is warm, full and dynamic, with a washy strike character and lively intensity. The cymbal works both live and in the studio, and suits most genres and musical contexts.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a crash cymbal with personality, both in sound and looks, while staying close to the proven 900 series character.
