17" crash cymbal from Paiste's 900 Series, made from the same CuSn20 bronze alloy as the Paiste 2002 series. The cymbal is machine-made at its core but hand-hammered in the final step, giving a well-built, great-sounding cymbal at a good price.
The sound is warm, full and dynamic, with a washy attack and lively intensity. The thickness is heavy, giving a cymbal with medium to loud volume that works well in both live and studio settings, across genres and musical contexts. The bell is integrated into the cymbal.
Construction and Sound
