17" Paiste 2002 Power Crash Cymbal
17" crash cymbal from Paiste 2002. Brilliant, powerful sound with strong projection for rock and heavier styles.
Product Description
17" crash cymbal from the Paiste 2002 Power Crash series, one of the most legendary cymbal lines in rock history since its launch in 1971. It delivers a brilliant, powerful sound with high energy and strong projection, suited equally well for live use and studio work.
The 2002 series is made from the CuSn8 alloy, also known as "2002 Bronze", and has defined the sound of generations of drummers. The sound is described as brilliant, clear, warm and strong, with a musical and very precise character thanks to its high energy level and powerful projection. The cymbal has a heavy thickness and an integrated bell, contributing to its powerful, cutting-through sound.
Sound and Feel
The attack sound is fairly washy with a lively intensity, and the volume ranges from medium to very loud. This makes the cymbal a good fit for medium-soft to loud music, both on stage and in the studio.
Who It's For
The 2002 Power Crash works especially well for classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, as well as crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and related genres.
