17" Paiste 2002 Crash
Product Description
The Paiste 2002 Crash 17" is one of rock history's most iconic cymbals, launched back in 1971 and still a go-to choice for drummers today. Built to the same classic specifications as the original, it delivers a brilliant, warm and powerful tone that cuts through even at high volume.
The cymbal is cast from CuSn8 bronze, often called "2002 Bronze", and features an integrated bell that adds extra character to the attack. The sound is washy with a lively intensity - precise and musical, with a high energy level and strong projection.
Playing Styles
The 17" Crash works well from medium soft to loud volume, live and in the studio. It's a classic choice for rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, but also holds its own in crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and plenty of other genres.
