16" Zildjian Z Custom Crash - Brilliant

Product Description

The Zildjian Z Custom 16" Crash is a fast, explosive and cutting-through crash cymbal built for hard rock, metal and other heavy styles. Cast from Zildjian's secret B20 alloy and finished in Brilliant, it opens up easily even at lower volumes yet never chokes under hard hits.

The reintroduced 2024 version of the Z Custom line has more body, opens up more easily, and is significantly more dynamic than earlier generations of the Z series. The series is built primarily for hard rock and covers everything from heavy metal to thrash, black and death metal, though individual models can suit other styles depending on the sound you're after.

Sound and Feel

The Z Custom crashes are fast, explosive and cutting without becoming unmusical. They're hard-hitting yet still carry dynamics and body, opening up nicely even at softer playing levels without choking when you dig in.

Zildjian. Genuine Turkish Cymbals Made in USA

Zildjian was founded in 1623 by the alchemist Avedis in Constantinople, who accidentally created an alloy of copper, tin and silver with unique sound properties. The family business moved to the USA in 1908 and has since developed many of the cymbal types we take for granted today, including crash, ride, hi-hat and splash cymbals.
