Product Description
The Aquarian Super-2 Clear is a transparent two-ply, 16" floor tom head built for plenty of attack, projection and depth. Two plies, 7 mil and 5 mil, give it a full, powerful tone that works well for rock and hard rock.
The head is made using Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process", a method that prevents air from getting trapped between the two plies. This gives tighter contact between the layers and a fuller tone than heads where air can get caught between the plies.
Construction
The patented Safe-T-Loc ring keeps the head in place and prevents it from slipping in the hoop during hard playing. The Sound Curve edge is shaped for what Aquarian calls "Responsive Tuning". An edge that makes the head easy to tune and quick to respond to adjustments.
