Product Description
The Aquarian Super-2 Clear is a two-ply tom head in 16" with plenty of attack, projection and depth. Combining two layers of clear film gives it a full, powerful sound well suited for rock and hard rock.
The head is built from two plies, 7 mil and 5 mil respectively. It's manufactured using Aquarian's "Vacuum Tuned Process", which prevents air from getting trapped between the plies during lamination. This results in a fuller tone compared to heads where air pockets can form.
Construction
The patented Safe-T-Loc ring keeps the head securely seated in the hoop and prevents slipping during hard playing. The Sound Curve edge is shaped to provide what Aquarian calls "Responsive Tuning". An edge that responds well to tuning and gives even response across the whole head.
