16" Aquarian Studio-X - Clear
Single-ply 10 mil head with thin internal dampening. Removes overtones while keeping the drum's open, warm sound.
Product Description
The Aquarian Studio-X Clear is a single-ply 16" drum head that combines a clear 10 mil film with a thin internal dampening ring. The dampening is subtle but effective, removing much of the overtone content while keeping the drum's open sound and warmth intact. It's a great choice for studio use and close miking.
The internal dampening tames the wilder overtones while the head continues to respond naturally to the stick. You get a controlled yet lively tone that's easy to work with, whether on stage or in the studio, especially when mics are placed close to the drum.
