16" Evans Drum Head SoundOff Mesh
16" SoundOff mesh drum head from Evans, lets you practice quietly or trigger electronically without stuffing the shell. Durable mesh build.
Product Description
The Evans 16" SoundOff Mesh is a mesh drum head for toms that lets you practice quietly or trigger a drum electronically without filling the shell with makeshift dampening. The mesh construction is durable and built to a high standard, day after day.
The SoundOff series is made for drummers who want to play acoustically but keep the volume down, or who trigger their acoustic drums live or in the studio without modifying the inside of the shell. The head mounts just like a regular batter head and significantly reduces volume compared to a standard head, while still keeping a natural feel on impact.
Where It Shines
Especially useful for home practice where the rest of the household would otherwise hear the whole kit, and for drummers triggering acoustic toms without wanting to build an internal muffling setup.
