16" Paiste Signature Traditionals Thin Crash Cymbal
16" Signature Traditionals Thin Crash, Paiste.
Product Description
The Signature Traditionals Thin Crash from Paiste is a 16" crash cymbal made of Proprietary Signature Bronze. It's traditionally hand-hammered and gives a warm, glittery and complex sound with a vintage-sounding character.
Sound
The cymbal gives a washy attack with quick intensity and a medium bell. It has a clear edge sound and stick sound that make the tone rich and layered. The integrated chick sound adds to the complex character.
Feel
The Signature Traditionals Thin Crash feels extremely musical and dynamic to play. The volume sits at soft to medium, which makes the cymbal sensitive to variations in playing.
Use
The cymbal suits jazz, swing, fusion, blues, big band and funk. The traditional hand-hammering is a technique long used in cymbal making to create irregularities in the material that affect the sound.
