Product Description
The Remo Powerstroke 4 Coated, 16", is a bass drumhead built for focused low-end tones and controlled sustain. Its reinforced inlay ring adds durability without losing warmth, making the P4 one of the warmest-sounding heads in Remo's 2-ply range.
The head is constructed with 2 plies of 7-mil Coated film, and as a bass drumhead it features a 7.5-mil inlay ring for added strength against hard playing. The construction delivers focused midrange tones together with controlled sustain and attack, giving a tight, controlled tone rather than an open, ringing one.
Sound and Use
Thanks to its controlled decay and focused low-end, the P4 Coated suits players who want a bass drum tone with a clear core and less ring. The coated surface gives a warm, slightly softer attack compared to the clear version.
Powerstroke 4 Coated is available in sizes from 8" to 28", so your whole kit can be matched with the same series and feel.
