16" Remo Emperor Artbeat Skyndeep New Sun
16" Emperor Artbeat New Sun drum head from Remo with art by Aric Improta. Full open tone, extra durability.
Product Description
The Emperor Artbeat New Sun is a 16" drum head from Remo, featuring original artwork by Aric Improta printed using Remo's Skyndeep Graphic Imaging Technology. Built on the classic Emperor construction, it delivers full open tones and works well for all drumming applications.
Underneath the graphic lies a proper Emperor build: two plies of 7-mil Emperor Clear film. This two-ply construction gives maximum projection and added durability compared to a single-ply head, while keeping the open, resonant tone Emperor heads are known for.
Construction and Tone
The double 7-mil clear film plies make the head more resistant to heavy playing without sacrificing the open, projecting tone the Emperor series is known for. The New Sun artwork by Aric Improta is applied directly to the surface using Skyndeep technology, meaning the design doesn't affect playing feel or sound.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want a head with real personal character without compromising on tone or durability, no matter the style you play.
