Product Description
The Evans Reso7 is a 16-inch resonant head built from a single layer of 7-mil coated film. The film is specially developed to give controlled sustain without the head sounding dead or muddy. The result is an open, natural tone with a soft "gated" feel that shortens the sustain slightly compared to an uncoated resonant head.
Sound and feel
The Reso7 sits between a clear, open resonant head and a thicker, more muffled option. The drum keeps its openness but doesn't ring on forever - a good fit if you want control without losing warmth.
Level 360 profile
The head uses Evans' Level 360 profile, a construction that makes it significantly easier to tune than traditional heads. It seats flat against the shell right away and delivers its sound from the first hit, without the break-in period many other heads need.
The Reso7 range is available from 6" up to 18", so you can match the same character across a full kit.
