16" Paiste PST 7 Thin Crash
Product Description
The PST 7 Thin Crash is a thin 16" crash cymbal from Paiste, made from the legendary CuSn8 bronze alloy ("2002 Bronze"). It delivers a clear, warm, open sound with a fast, airy response – an affordable way to get that traditional Paiste sound. Suits most genres and volume levels, both live and in some recording contexts.
Sound Character
The PST 7 series is designed for drummers who like a traditional look, sound and feel without paying too much for it. This is the thinnest crash in the PST 7 line, giving it a velvety attack and a washy, airy intensity rather than a tight, compact crash hit. The bell is medium-sized and adds an integrated chick sound when played near the bell.
Volume and Use
The thin build responds quickly even at low to medium playing volume – handy in rehearsal rooms and lower-volume stage settings where a heavier crash can easily dominate. It works as an all-around cymbal suited to any genre, both for live playing and in certain studio situations.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a clear, warm and easy-to-play crash at a reasonable price, without giving up that classic Paiste sound.
