16" Paiste PST 5 Medium Crash Cymbal
16" PST 5 Medium Crash in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, open tone with lively character. Affordable all-around cymbal for any genre.
Product Description
The PST 5 Medium Crash is an affordable 16" crash cymbal from Paiste, cast from CuSn8 bronze, the same alloy used in the brand's higher-end series. It delivers a clear, open and defined tone with an energetic character, making it a reliable all-around cymbal for any style of music.
The PST 5 series combines Swiss cymbal expertise with German engineering. It uses the same CuSn8 bronze alloy, also known as "2002 bronze", that Paiste's finer series are built on, but in a simpler execution at a good price. The result is musical cymbals that offer strong quality for the price.
Sound Character
The cymbal has a medium thickness and a washy attack sound, with lively intensity and an integrated bell that adds extra definition to the tone. The sound is clear, pure and open, and the cymbal is built for medium to loud volume.
Who It's For
The PST 5 Medium Crash suits players who want an affordable crash without compromising on sound quality. It works across all types of music regardless of genre and volume, including live use.
