The Meinl MB10 Fat Hi-hat 16" is made from the unique B10 alloy (90% copper, 10% tin) with a dense, even hammering that produces a bright, clear tone. It works as a reliable workhorse with a solid balance between projection and body, suited for rock, pop and more dynamic playing styles alike.
Sound and construction
The surface has a brilliant finish, and the dense hammering is designed to give an even response across the whole cymbal surface. The B10 alloy differs from the more common B20 bronze with a brighter, clearer core character, while the balance between attack and body makes it versatile across musical contexts.
Range
The MB10 series is available both as individual cymbals and as complete hi-hat/cymbal packs. Rock 14/18/20 and Standard 14/16/20. Both of which also include a heavily padded cymbal bag, the MCB22.
