16" Paiste Masters Thin Hi-Hats

Product Description

The Paiste Masters Thin Hi-Hat 16" is a hand-crafted hi-hat made from CuSn20 bronze (Traditional Bronze), with a thin top cymbal and a medium thin bottom cymbal. It delivers a warm, full and complex sound with wide tonal range, working equally well at low and high volumes on stage and in the studio.

The Masters series started as a range of top-tier ride cymbals, before being expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same exceptional quality. Each cymbal is hand-crafted, so the sound will vary slightly from cymbal to cymbal. Part of what makes the series special.

Sound Character

Expect a warm, deep and full sound with real complexity. The stick attack is soft with soft intensity, while the bell stays lively and clearly defined. The chick sound sits at a medium level, giving a balanced, musical response with the pedal.

Construction

The top cymbal is thin, and the bottom cymbal is medium thin. A combination that contributes to the soft attack and rich overtone content. The CuSn20 alloy, also known as Traditional Bronze, is the same alloy type used in several of Paiste's top professional series.

Who It's For

A great choice if you play jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop or country and want a hi-hat that handles everything from low to high volume without losing nuance, whether on stage or in the studio.
