16" Paiste Masters Dark Crash Cymbal
Paiste Masters 16" crash cymbal in CuSn20 bronze. Warm, full sound with a medium-long bell.
Product Description
The Masters Dark Crash is a hand-crafted 16" crash cymbal from Paiste, cast in CuSn20 bronze (Traditional Bronze). It delivers a warm, full, and complex sound with a wide sonic range, suited for live and studio use at low to medium volumes.
The cymbal belongs to Paiste's Masters series, which originally consisted of top-of-the-line ride cymbals before being expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same quality. Each cymbal is unique since it is entirely hand-made.
The thickness is medium thin, giving a silky attack sound and washy intensity with an integrated chick sound. The bell has a medium-long ring. The overall sound character is warm, deep and full, with a wide range of tonal variation, and works especially well for jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country.
