16" Istanbul Mehmet Hamer Flange Crash Cymbal
16" Flange Crash from Istanbul Mehmet's HameR series. Trashy, hammered attack with a dark, warm Turkish tone.
Product Description
The Istanbul Mehmet Hamer Flange Crash is a 16" crash cymbal from the HameR series, marked by big hammer marks that add a trashy effect on top of the dark, warm sound found across all HameR models. The combination of hammered and lathed surfaces gives the edge a thinner profile, letting you play quick, distinct accents.
Every model in the HameR series shares the same dark, warm, traditional Turkish cymbal sound. What sets the Flange Crash apart from the other models in the line. The split crash and the warm ride. Is this specific combination of hammered and lathed surfaces, resulting in a thinner edge. That thinner edge responds quickly, making it a good choice when you want a fast, cutting-through accent without losing the trashy character the heavy hammering brings.
