16" Istanbul Mehmet HameR Crash Cymbal
Crash cymbal from Istanbul Mehmet, HameR series, 16″. Dark, warm traditional Turkish tone with heavy hammer marks for a trashy edge.
Product Description
The Istanbul Mehmet HameR Crash is a 16" crash cymbal carrying the dark, warm traditional Turkish cymbal sound found across the whole HameR line. Big hammer marks add a trashy effect, while the combination of hammered and lathed surfaces keeps it quick and responsive for fast accents.
The surface blends hammered and lathed areas, a treatment Istanbul Mehmet uses across several HameR models: split crash, flange crash and a warm ride. The result is a thinner edge that responds quickly to accents, while retaining the dark, warm character typical of traditional Turkish cymbals.
