16" Istanbul Agop Ion Crash Cymbal
16″ Crash Cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Xist Ion series. Symmetrical holes give a raw, splashy attack with quick decay.
Product Description
The 16″ Xist Ion Crash from Istanbul Agop features symmetrically placed geometric holes that give this crash a splashy, raw attack with a very quick decay. Great for accents, hand drumming, or in a stack with other cymbals.
The Xist series combines modern production techniques with traditional cymbal making processes, offering professional quality at a price accessible to drummers at any level. Available with a Traditionally lathed or Modern brilliant finish.
Sound and Feel
The drilled holes create an open, raw character with a splashy edge to the attack. The quick decay makes the cymbal easy to control in busier grooves, better suited to short accents than long, washy crashes.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a distinct accent cymbal, enjoy playing with your hands directly on the cymbal, or want to build a stack with extra attack and texture.
