16" Istanbul Agop Xist Crash Cymbal
16" Xist Crash by Istanbul Agop. Papery attack and medium decay.
Product Description
The Xist Crash 16" from Istanbul Agop is a crash cymbal with a papery attack and a medium decay. By combining more modern production techniques with traditional cymbal making processes, Istanbul Agop offers professional quality at a price that's accessible to drummers at any level.
The cymbal is available with a Traditionally lathed or a Modern brilliant finish. Both options share the same underlying construction and core sound character, differing mainly in surface finish and appearance.
Sound and Feel
The attack is described as papery, giving an open, light response rather than a heavy, metallic strike. Decay is medium, making the cymbal versatile across musical contexts where you want a clear but not overly sustained crash sound.
Who It's For
The Xist Crash suits players who want a professionally made cymbal without paying flagship prices, whether as a first proper crash upgrade for a beginner kit or as an affordable addition to a larger cymbal setup.
