16" crash cymbal (Traditional Thin) from Istanbul Agop, fully lathed with warm overtones. Quick response, dark musical sound.
Product Description
16" crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Traditional series, fully lathed on both top and bottom. Delivers rich, warm overtones and a musical presence with quick response.
Traditional Series cymbals are completely lathed on top and bottom, producing rich and warm overtones and a highly musical presence. They are available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of choices to complement any style of music. This model is a Thin weight version, responding quickly with low and dark characteristics and an overall musical sound.
Sound and Feel
The lighter weight lets the cymbal open up fast on impact, giving a dark, warm tone rather than a bright, cutting one. Overtones are rich without becoming overwhelming, making it a versatile choice for musical contexts that call for a quick but still full-bodied crash.
