16" Istanbul Agop Traditional Dark Crash Cymbal
16″ crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Traditional series. Dark and punchy, quick response with fewer high overtones.
Product Description
The 16″ Traditional Dark Crash is a fully lathed crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop with a dark, punchy character that answers quickly to the stick. It suits players who want a cymbal with clear identity and a rich, warm overtone spread across many styles of music.
The Traditional Series is completely lathed on top and bottom, producing rich, warm overtones and a highly musical presence. The series is available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of choices to complement any style of music.
This 16" crash is dark and punchy in character. It answers quickly with fewer high frequency overtones than a brighter cymbal, giving a more focused and controlled crash sound.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a dark, focused crash with a quick response rather than a bright, ringing one, and if you appreciate the range of weights and characters the Traditional Series offers.
