16" Evans Genera HD Dry - Coated
16" drumhead from Evans, Coated Genera Heavy Dry. Two-ply head with dampening ring and Dry Vents, giving a full tone with reduced overtones.
Product Description
Genera Heavy Dry 16" is a two-ply drumhead from Evans with a Coated finish. It gives a full tone with reduced overtones and helps you find the right sound, from a fat ballad snare to an aggressive metal snare.
The head is built with an inner ply of 7.5 mil and an outer ply of 5 mil, together with a dampening ring of 2 mil. Along the edge of the head sit small precision-drilled holes, called Dry Vents, which give the full tone and reduce overtones. The construction is based on the Level 360 profile, which makes the head sit flat against the shell of the drum.
