The Evans EMAD Calftone 16" is a bass drum head that gives you the beautiful look and warm sound of calfskin, combined with the reliability and tonal range of a modern Evans 360 head. It features a built-in EMAD muffling ring and a tom-style hoop for secure mounting.
Calftone is made from 12 mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clarity of vintage heads. It can be used as either a batter head or a resonant head.
Sound Character
