16" Remo Colortone Emperor - Blue
A colorful, dual-ply drum head from Remo. Emperor construction gives focused tone and strong durability.
Product Description
The Remo Colortone Emperor is a 16" dual-ply drum head that pairs the Emperor construction's focused tone and durability with a bold, colorful look. It's made using Remo's Skyndeep® Imaging technology, which delivers a vividly colored, durable surface without compromising sound.
Thanks to Skyndeep® Imaging, the color is built into the head rather than applied on top, giving a striking look on stage while retaining the Emperor's powerful projection and tone. Blue is one of several Colortone options Remo offers (Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue and Smoke), and Colortone is also available in Powerstroke® 77 and Powerstroke® P3, in sizes 8"–26".
Construction
As a dual-ply Emperor head, the BE-0316-CT-BU delivers a darker, more controlled tone than a single-ply head, with good damping of unwanted overtones. A solid combination of tone and durability for toms that get played hard.
