16" Paiste Color Sound 900 China Cymbal - Blue
16" China cymbal from Paiste, Color Sound 900 Blue China. Warm, full sound with a trashy edge.
Product Description
16" Blue China from Paiste's Color Sound 900 series. A china cymbal in a bold blue finish sharing the same base character as the standard 900 series, but with a slightly darker, more controlled sound thanks to the color coating. Works equally well live and in the studio, across all genres.
Color Sound 900 is made from CuSn20 bronze. Like the rest of the 900 series, it is machine-made at its core, then hand-hammered in the final stage. The colored coating gives the cymbal a slightly darker and more controlled sound compared to an untreated 900 cymbal.
The sound is warm, full and dynamic, with a washy attack and trashy intensity that give the cymbal character. The bell is medium-sized and produces an integrated chick sound when played tight. Volume sits in the Medium To Loud range, with a medium thin weight.
