16" Paiste Color Sound 900 Crash Cymbal - Black
16" crash cymbal, Color Sound 900 Black, Paiste. Warm, full sound with a washy attack and integrated bell.
Product Description
16" crash cymbal from Paiste's Color Sound 900 series, in a hand-hammered Black finish. The color coating gives it a slightly darker, more controlled sound than the standard 900 series, with a warm, full tone that works both live and in the studio.
- Warm, full and dynamic sound
- Washy attack with lively intensity
- Integrated bell
- Suits all genres, live and studio
Construction and Sound
The cymbal is cast from CuSn20 alloy and is machine-made at its core, like the rest of the 900 series, but hand-hammered in a final step. The color coating that gives the cymbal its black surface also makes the sound slightly darker and more controlled compared to the untreated 900 series. The thickness is medium, giving a volume range from medium low to loud.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a cymbal with personality, both visually and sonically. The Color Sound 900 Black Crash is also available in purple, red and blue if you want to match or stand out in your setup.
