The Evans Genera Resonant is a clear, single-ply resonant drum head built from 10-mil film. It delivers full, round sustain with strong upper-midrange tone and pairs especially well with a 2-ply batter head for a fuller, more defined sound.
The single-ply construction gives good response and projection without sacrificing sustain. Combined with a 2-ply batter head, the drum gets a fuller tone with clearer attack.
The head uses Evans Level 360 technology: a vertically enhanced collar that provides even contact with the bearing edge all the way around the drum. This makes the head easier to tune, extends the tuning range, and keeps the sound consistent around the shell.
