The Meinl Classics Custom Dark 16" Crash (CC16DAC) is a B10 alloy cymbal given a special heat treatment that both produces its dark, striking look and unlocks a wider sound spectrum. Attack is fast, the tone bright but spiced with a dark bottom end, and the extra hammering adds fullness underneath. Sound Character

The cymbal delivers a bright tone spiced with a dark bottom end and a medium-high pitch. Sustain sits at medium with a clear spark-shower trail, and volume is medium with a brilliant, washy sweep rather than a sharp bark – easy to control in mixes where you want character without it taking over.
