Construction and Manufacturing

The cymbal is made at Meinl's Turkish factory using traditional craftsmanship. The B20 bronze is cast, heated, rolled and cooled following a carefully proven process until the correct thickness is achieved. The bell is shaped and the cymbal is hand-hammered to create its characteristic form. The specially treated, unlathed surface is a hallmark of the Vintage Pure series. After manufacturing in Turkey, the cymbal is sent to Meinl's German facility for quality control, sorting and finishing.
