Product Description
The 16" Byzance Jazz Thin Crash is a crash cymbal from Meinl's Byzance Jazz series. It gives a soft and crisp crash with a warm sound character, medium sustain and volume.
Sound
The cymbal delivers deep tones and a warm overtone register with good volume control. The sound is dark and thin with a beautiful sing, and it has a good balance between crash and ride function.
Construction
The cymbal is hand-hammered and hand-lathed on both the top and bottom, which gives the surface its characteristic structure and finish. It is made from B20 alloy, 80% copper and 20% tin, an alloy commonly used in higher-class cymbals thanks to its tonal richness.
Manufacturing
The cymbal is manufactured in Turkey, while finishing and quality control take place in Germany.
Use
