15" Evans Reso7 - Coated

Product Description

The Evans Reso7 is a 15" resonant head made from a single layer of 7-mil coated film, engineered to deliver controlled sustain without sounding dead or muddy. It's a great choice if you want an open tone with a soft "gate" effect that shortens the sustain slightly, giving you control without losing the drum's liveliness.

Tone and Feel

Reso7 uses a single layer of 7-mil coated film. The film gives the drum an open tone while acting as a soft gate that produces a slightly shorter sustain than a standard resonant head. The result is a drum that rings freely without becoming uncontrolled or muddy.

Level 360

The head features Evans' Level 360 profile, a design that allows the head to sit completely flat against the drum shell. This makes the head significantly easier to tune than traditional heads and delivers full sound right from the start, with no critical "break-in" period before the head settles.

Who It's For

Suited to drummers who want a resonant tone with a bit more control than a fully open head, without sacrificing liveliness.
