The Paiste Masters Dark Hi-Hat 15" is a hand-crafted hi-hat from the Masters series, cast in CuSn20 alloy (Traditional Bronze). It delivers a warm, full and deep sound with great complexity, suited for jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country at low to medium volume, both live and in the studio.
The Masters series began as a range of top-tier ride cymbals before Paiste expanded it in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same high quality. Each cymbal is hand-crafted, so no two sound exactly alike.
Sound Character
The top cymbal is medium thin and the bottom cymbal medium heavy, producing a soft attack with a velvety intensity. The bell is medium, and together they create a broad, deep and nuanced sound suited to styles where dynamics and complexity matter.
