The Formula 602 Modern Essentials Hi-Hat 15" from Paiste is a modern reinterpretation of the classic 602 series, developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta. The cymbals are hand-crafted from CuSn20 bronze (602-Bronze), giving a musical, deep and warm sound with a dark, full character.
A very versatile hi-hat, equally suited for recording and live use across most musical genres, and highly dynamic in how it responds to your playing.
Sound Character
The top cymbal has a medium thickness and the bottom cymbal a medium heavy thickness, a combination that gives a soft attack sound with a meaty intensity when you dig in. The bell is medium-sized and contributes to the full, dark overall sound typical of the 602 series. Volume range goes from low to loud.
