Product Description
The Fiberskyn 3 Ambassador is Remo's warm, dark and round-toned head. Long favored in jazz but equally at home in orchestral settings and on world percussion instruments. The surface is built to be played with both sticks and brushes.
The Fiberskyn 3 Ambassador is a medium-weight head built from a single ply of poly-spun fiber, 10 mil Mylar® film. This construction produces a warm mid-range resonant sound with a warm attack, suited to both snare drums and toms. The surface is excellent for both stick and brush playing.
Tone Character
This head delivers the dark, warm, round tone sought after for traditional jazz, concert snare drums, bass drums and tom-toms. Used on world percussion instruments, it also provides an outstanding, authentic ethnic drum sound distinct from standard synthetic heads.
Who It's For
A strong choice if you play jazz or orchestral music and want a warmer, more organic tone than a standard head provides. Works equally well on drums and hand percussion where a natural, controlled character is wanted.
