Product Description
The Aquarian Texture Coated Reflector is a two-ply snare batter head at a full 17 mil, built for players who hit hard and want clear attack without losing warmth. Inspired by drummer Eric Moore, it combines two film types in a new "Hybrid Film" construction. The result is a head that sounds warm and musical at low volume, yet brighter and more articulate when played hard.
The bottom ply is a 10 mil black film - heavier and stronger than standard films, yet brighter in tone. The top ply is Aquarian's classic Nu-Brite film at 7 mil, giving the head a warmer fundamental tone. Together they form a 17 mil hybrid construction that is more articulate, reliable and durable than many simpler two-ply heads.
Look and Feel
The head has a black, reflective texture-coated finish and is designed to be played fast, hard and with passion - ideal for snare work in styles where you need stick attack and rebound without sacrificing musicality.
