14" Aquarian Studio-X - Clear
Single-ply 10 mil head with thin internal dampening that removes overtones while keeping the drum's natural sound and warmth.
Product Description
The Aquarian Studio-X Clear 14" is a single-ply, 10 mil drum head with a thin internal dampening ring. The dampening is subtle but enough to remove much of the overtones while keeping the drum's open sound and warmth. It's a great choice for studio use and close miking.
Tone
The combination of a clear head and thin internal dampening gives controlled overtones without making the drum sound lifeless. Resonance and warmth in the fundamental tone remain intact.
Who It's For
A good choice if you record in the studio or use close miking and want control over overtones without losing the drum's open, natural sound.
