14" Paiste Signature Reflector Heavy Full Hi-Hats

Product Description

The Signature Reflector Heavy Full Hi-Hat is a 14" hi-hat from Paiste's Signature series, hand-crafted from start to finish by Swiss cymbal makers using the Proprietary Signature Bronze alloy. It delivers a full, musical and clear sound with a medium bell, and its wide dynamic range makes it just as suited to live playing as to the studio.

Sound Character

The sound is musical, beautiful and full, with an intensity Paiste describes as Somewhat Dirty. Meaning a touch of raw, lively character rather than a fully clean tone. The attack is full and the bell medium, giving clear definition in the chick and closed sounds without being harsh.

Construction

The top cymbal is medium and the bottom cymbal extra heavy, a classic hi-hat pairing that gives stability in the closed sound while the top cymbal still responds easily in open and half-open positions. Volume-wise it sits in the medium low to loud range, giving room for everything from delicate comping to more powerful playing.

Uses

The hi-hat is built to work across most volumes and styles, both live and in the studio. From pop, rock and heavy metal to country, blues and big band.

Who It's For

A hi-hat for the discerning drummer who wants a hand-crafted, top-tier cymbal with personal character and musical range rather than a single, predictable sound.
