14" Evans Reso7 Resonant - Coated

Product Description

The Evans Reso7 is a 14" resonant head built from a single ply of 7 mil coated film. It gives the drum an open tone while acting as a soft gate that shortens the sustain slightly, without going dead or muddy. A good choice if you want control over resonance without losing the drum's natural character.

Controlled Sustain

The specially developed film used in Reso7 is designed to give a controlled sustain. The tone stays open, but without the loose, undefined ring a fully unmuffled resonant head can produce. The result is a drum that responds clearly without ringing out of control.

The Level 360 Profile

Reso7 features Evans' Level 360 profile, a head shape that makes tuning significantly easier than with many other brands. The head sits flat against the drum shell right from installation and delivers its sound from the start, skipping the break-in period other heads often need. Many players who have tried Level 360 find it hard to go back to a head without it.

Reso7 is available in sizes from 6" to 18", so you can get the same character across every drum in your kit.
