14" Evans Genera Concert
Batter head, 0.188mm, built for symphonic timpani. Open, warm tone with wide dynamics and narrow muffling for clear articulation.
Product Description
The Evans Genera Concert is a 14" batter head at 0.188mm thickness, made for symphonic timpani playing. It delivers an open, warm tone with wide dynamic range, thanks to a narrow muffling ring on the underside that sharpens articulation.
The narrow muffling ring lets every stroke come through clearly without thinning out the tone, which matters in orchestral settings where dynamics can shift from barely audible to full power. Evans recommends pairing the Genera Concert with the Orchestral 300 snare-side head for best results.
