18" Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Stack Cymbal Stack
18" cymbal stack (Flanger Stack) from Paiste PST X, in bronze, brass and aluminum. Washy, trashy effects sound.
Product Description
The Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Stack is an 18" effects cymbal built as a stack with an integrated bell, made for players who want to add an extra layer of sound to their cymbal setup. The PST X series offers affordable, innovative effects cymbals in many sizes and configurations, so there's always a variant to fit your setup.
The cymbal is built from a combination of CuSn20 bronze, MS63 brass and aluminum, giving it its characteristic, exotic and slightly trashy sound. The tone varies depending on the model within the series. The thickness is medium thin on top and thin on the bottom, contributing to a washy stick sound with lively intensity and a volume ranging from medium low to medium loud.
The PST X Swiss Flanger Stack fits in any context where you want to add an effects-heavy, characterful sound. A great choice if you like experimenting with your cymbal sound.
