14" Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Crash

Product Description

The Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Crash is a 14" effects cymbal from the PST X series, built for players who want to add a washy, trashy sound to their cymbal setup. The integrated bell adds extra character, and the thin construction makes the cymbal fast and responsive at low to medium volume.

The PST X series is Paiste's affordable line of effect and specialty cymbals, offering many types, variations and sizes for anyone looking to add some extra spice to their setup. The Swiss Flanger Crash is built from a CuSn20 bronze, MS63 brass and aluminum alloy, giving it an effective, trashy and exotic sound depending on how it's played.

Sound Character

The attack is washy with a lively intensity, rather than a clean, defined crash attack. The thin construction responds quickly to light strokes and delivers a low to medium volume. Great for players who want more trash and character than a traditional crash offers.

Who It's For

A good choice for drummers looking to expand their setup with an effects cymbal alongside their regular crashes and rides, in contexts where a washy, exotic sound is wanted.
