14" Paiste PST 8 Reflector Medium Hats Hi-hat

Product Description

The PST 8 Reflector Medium Hats are 14" hi-hats from Paiste, made from the legendary "2002 Bronze" alloy (CuSn8) and refined through traditional hand-hammering. The high-gloss Reflector finish gives them a distinctive look and a bright, clean tone with plenty of warmth and power.

Sound Character

The tone is bright and clean with well-defined pitch, while still retaining warmth and power in the attack. Volume ranges from medium-low to loud, making these hats flexible across a variety of playing situations. The stick sound is lively, the bell is fairly lively, and the intensity is fairly defined. The foot chick sound sits at a medium level.

Construction

These hi-hats are built with a medium top and a heavy bottom, a combination that contributes to both responsiveness and power. The alloy is CuSn8 Bronze, the same as used in the legendary "2002 Bronze" series, and the surface is hand-hammered before receiving Paiste's high-gloss Reflector finish.

Who It's For

Suited to most styles of music regardless of genre and volume, both live and in the studio, thanks to the wide volume range and well-defined tone.
